Check with HaylZ I think she has 9 1/2's rear but guards are rolled I believe. Not sure if you can fit 10" rims 'though. Cheers, Peter
No problem with 9.5's>> 10's will fit also, but it depends on the offset & the rim size, ie: 16's, 17's, 18's or bigger. Add to this the tyre profile, 35's or larger. My car, when landed in OZ, had 295x35x18's on the rear & 265x45x18's on the front. And the guards aren't rolled. Hope some of this info helps you out. Cheers Kerry
I have 9.5" rears, guards don't have to be rolled. I know someone with 10" and his guards aren't rolled either. Depends on your offset etc.
yeah, i have 9.5" on the rears and the guards were rolled but there'd be plenty of room for 10's!!! Hey Peter, what have you got on yours? i hear they're FAT but what actual size are they??!!
I'm also running 9.5's on rear with a 275 wide tyre no issues at all... plenty of room for wider - as long as the offset is correct and you will need to start adjusting camber if you want to go over about 285 wide. I know Andymac is running a 10" wide rear with 285's on it. JP from UAS is running a 305 or 315 on the rears, so you can fit them, but that you'll definately need to adjust camber for that size. - which in turn will hinder the even wear.
Haylz, its the offset of Peter's rims that make them look so fat Was talking to him at Coona, think rears are 10inch but offset +8 - means they stick out heaps compared to my offset of -35.
I run 9.5" Enkei RP03 wheels and 265.35.18 Michelin pilot sport tyres, set at 1.5 deg neg cam. On the rear and have the body flared 25mm and the edge of the tyre is only just in from the guard. The wheel offset kicks it out a bit and the negative camber could be increased to tuck the top in more. I am comfortable with this setup and for street use the car goes where I intend.
Peter originally had 12 I believe he moved the fronts, which are 10" to the rear and had the rears modified and moved them to the front
Almost make you cry cutting up a pair of 12" rims but on the flip side I wouldn't like to be paying for the boots that fit them.
I've 18X10's on the rear with 285/30 rubber, 295 will fit but needed the guards rolled and cost a pretty penny for the rubber. back to 285's now.
Yeah, I also have 18x10's on the rear but running with 275 +48 offset. However, I think a +52 offset would be ideal.
Rear I have a wide rear body and if I recall right since the car has been in the Body shop for 3 months I have 18X12" at the rear and are deep dished.
You'll have to post some pics of your fat bum with those big feet under it! I luv the wide bodies. :zlove: **DISCLAIMER** I WOULD LIKE TO CLARIFY THAT MY TENDENCIES FOR WIDE BODIES APPLY ONLY TO SPORTS CARS - NOT NOT REFERRING TO LARGE BEHINDS ON WOMEN. ALSO TO MENTION THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH A WIDE-BODIED WOMAN, THEY ARE PROBABLY LOVELY PEOPLE AND SOME LARGER WOMEN CAN EVEN BE QUITE ENTHEUSIASTIC IN CERTAIN WAYS.
