and bad too !!! coming out in big clouds....also popped the bonnet and smoke coming out the oil cap when I remove it.....car was running sensationally two days ago...then suddenly runnig shitty, low power and smoking a lot with weird smell....never smelled this smoke before. and smoke coming out of oil cap. sounds like oil getting very hot, thinking car maybe overheating but guage not showin what it should, perhaps stuffed thermostat so not registering temps as water not getting hot to engine (Cant remember where water temp is before thermostat part of water pipe )... radiator fluid looke pretty dirty...like swamp water Anyone want to buy the car....8 grand as is....going to buy myself a ford frigging laser. car not loosing coolant though ? temp gauge registeres normal, only started to happen last night, car does "smell" hot......but dont think it's overheating. May pull the radiator and flush, new thermo soo what happens. CAr did smoke a few weeks ago, not as bad then all of a sudden like a new car going fine.....then three weeks later crap again ? BB
Re: car not loosing coolant though ? smoke pissing out your oil filler cap generally means excessive blow by caused by farked compression rings either way.. if your not sure what your doing, take it somewhere (id suggest on a truck too)
would have thought that excessive blow by would have shown up in the PCV system, ie: oil pissing out of PCV pipes..smoke on cam covers to me say heat issue still ... my pcv system doesnt really exists...vents into atmosphere and valves are blocked off. BB
