Could you use a V mounted Intercooler setup, would it be effective in a Z??

    5K1TZX Its all never ending....

    As you would see them in S15 silvias etc.

    Would the shortened pipework make any effect?

    Would It fit with the radiator setup in the V config?

    Has it been done before on a Z?

    Just curious :)

    i read some where along time ago

    u had to modify the engine brackets and move the engine backwards...i may be wrong...but would have its advantages if it fit:p

    maybe this thiswill help, people love v mounts, because you get more air then fmic and also less damage.

    yeah there usually is a big vent at teh front of the bonnet.

    I doubt you could do this with a zed as there is just not enough room in the engine bay.

    You rely on bonnet vents to vent air out after passing I/C.

    Air that passes through radiator runs under the car.

    If really interested could dig up install pics of my FD that has the HKS V mount kit.
