Maybe it's just the 2-tone thing. Don't know if i'm really a fan of the 2-tone, maybe cheapens it a bit. :unsure:

Hey Dude paint that car all one colour!! i want to be the only one with a

two tone zed. Nah thats cool just don't paint the bottom half silver and we'll be sweet.

Looks sweet! I think it is definately a good idea to go Brazillian at the same time tho.

 

Yeah too many people are going for resprays in one single colour......

might aswell do something different.

I personally think it looks very tough and because of the CF bonnet and nose panel tied in looks great.

We should have it back out on the road soon just have to complete the engine bay and some interior pieces and then its time for some cruising.

The top half is painted in the 2005 Subaru WRX Pearl Black and the bottom half is Nissans Pearl White but with twice the layers of pearl. And brazillian ofcourse and no rear wiper.

 

Well make it 10 different colours.... Better yet just throw blobs of paint

on it hahahaha :LOL::LOL:

 

Yeah I think 10 different colours might be abit too XTREME....

I think two is fine, have a look at what the states are doing for styling q's two tone is a big thing especially with alot of the import scene and even bigger in the hotrod / custom scene.

If you take a look at some of the creations from Chip Foose for example you will see that trend. Rod Millen and Troy Trepanier also have a style that does involve the two tone paint job.

 

I don't care who is doing it, I don't like it on the Z32.

That's just my opinion, if you don't like it you can have your own opinion no matter how wrong it is.

It cheapens the lines of the zed and makes it look too much like a 180 that has been thrashed around too much.

I mean...doesn't the whole two tone look come from the fact that drift cars often have many of their panels replaced due to 'mis-haps' with in-animate objects? The styling has then grown from the wannabe drifters who wanna make it 'look' like they are a seasoned drifter....

Just takes the zed into a realm it just shouldn't stoop to.

(But, whatever floats you boat as they say. Do it if you want to do it, not because everyone else is doing it)

Each to their own, I like it and I would like to have it done to my car. There are others who don't like it and I don't think less of them either way.
