I'm chasing an article showing how to remove the steering wheel (stock)

    and installing boss and aftermarket wheel...

    Unfortunately Benny_C, the centre cap is unsuited to the Z decals you gave me :thumbsdown: I'll have to think of a way to do it tho...

    Mike, remove screw from behind horn pad

    There is one screw at bottom section and then it just clips out.
    A wheelbrace should be good enough to undo nut from column. Undo this till the nut is flush with top of column. You can either try to pull wheel back by wiggling and pulling or the cloumn may need and jolt(hammer) on the end of shaft where nut is now flush.
    get a hammer and an extension from a socket set or something like that and give the shaft 1 or 2 good hits which should then loosen the wheel.
    It may come off really easy or it may be an absolute bitch.

    i find that if you give the sides of the wheel a few good hits with the base of your palms combined with pulling etc most come off in about 30 seconds. Some are REAL bastards. As John said, make sure you leave the centre bolt on by a couple of threads so you dont break your nose when the steering wheel comes off.
