    Look what i found after removing the drivers side exhaust manifold...

    come to think of it, doesn't look like it's the correct gasket... :wacko:

    Going from my vague memory I think you'll find that the same gasket

    is used on both right and left manifolds so its made reversible.

    I pulled one off an old engine the other day ( the one with the rod through the side) and it was exactly the same. Seems none of these mechanics can see.

    RE: Manifold gaskets.

    They're made like that because the stud patterns are reversed from one port to the next (look at the pics), and they are a universal fit.:LOL:
