    Good luck with your sale......

but, one questions why a genuine 85K well maintained zed needed another motor and gearbox fitted in the first place ?

My curiosity gets the better of me sometimes

New gearbox was put in because the original one just wore out. Have a look through some of my old posts.
To much torque for the stock box & it started to fall off the convertor in top so the decision was made to pull it & replace with a very low K one instead of rebuild.
This is why i also modified the box that is in it now & have also added a external oil cooler & am running full synthetic oil & uniglide.
At that power level the box will last another 80+K's if treated right.

The K's on this car are 'legit' as described & for all you newbies out there please check through my old posts & you will know i have owned this car over 7yrs & brought it over from Japan myself with 24 original K's on it.

The motor was replaced because of a mix of bad fuel, boost & a hot day, the result was a blown head gasket. I made the decision to replace the engine with a very low K prime example instead of 'just' replace the head gaskets.
All this work i have done is fully reciepted as described & is to benefit the new buyer & for those that have seen or been anywhere my car know that it is worth a hell of alot more than the starting price of $18K.
Feel free to ask Mark Field he is more than happy to give a unbiased opinion.

It is sad to know that with all the efforts put into this car it will

probably be compared to other 300zx in the market which are selling for a cheaper price...

are the turbos rebuilt, high flowed or stock? and at what boost level did you make 265rwkw?

If you can get rid of the engine to a zed fanatic like myself who aprreciates the work...and put a fairly standard zed pushing 200kw you could drop the price dramatically therfore sell the car quickly ;)

    Turbos are stock

The engine wouldnt have any more than 20k's on it at a guess, all cylinder pressures are very high.
The turbos had never been boosted before it got into my car.
We made 265rwkw on just over 19psi, so the guys wrote 20 on the graph.

The dyno for those who have noticed is not running shoot out mode so what the guys do is run 'zero' correction. This generally makes it read low. So these power & torque figures are all real!

Yes it is a shame that all the rookies out there are trying to compare my car to the general population, but thats just the way it goes. The real winner here will actually be the person that has the coin & buys this immaculate Zed from me rather than buying a cheapie & trying to mod it up slowly. Alot of time, care & money has been put into this car & the new buyer will be laughing all the way to the bank.

Sorry man not willing to pull this car apart, it has to go as is. If you want the good engine & the awesome stereo in this car to compliment your nice looking ride you will have to buy it, swap everything & sell it off yourself:thumbsup: you will come out alot better off that way & save yourself a fortune!

    Regards,
    Jamie

Beautiful Zed!!! Absolute bargin at that price.

If i had the time and know-how id seriously consider buying and swapping out alot of good shit off this car.

I was in the market for a Slicktop back in November, couldnt find any good ones at the time :(

I ended up buying my mates 89 TT, he was about to give it away to a dealer cause he hadnt sold it. Got it for $12k, it was stock tho, but in great nick for its age.
But this car looks like its absolute mint. Lots of sensible preventative maintenece, expensive go-fast bits as well. A steal at the price.

    Reasonable asking price.

I recently sold my Zed for 16k.
Less mods but New GT28R Turbos.

I had plently of interest from the Trading Post for 17k.

Good luck with your sale looks nice.

    The last hours are here

This car has to be sold due to other commitments now.

Dont be 1 of the 30+ people watching this auction & get in & make a bid before it closes very soon.
I didnt think it would be this hard to give something away:p

    Regards,
    Jamie

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

Great power figure. But 20psi on stock turbos - hmm, probably

wouldn't want to run that sort of boost for more than about .01sec IMO.

    - but great power figure though!!
