One thing i have forgot in my Auto2Manual parts list... spacers... I gather it's between the bellhousing on the tranny and the engine... Does anyone know where i can get these and how much? Should i just go down to the local nissan dealer and get raped? :LOL:
Are you sure you are after the right thing?......>> I'm not aware of the zed having a spacer between the engine and bellhousing on either the auto or the manual.
Re: Are you sure you are after the right thing?......>> I dont know about the manual, but the Auto has some thin weird plates on the bottom half of the bell housing. Unless I dreamed it or got it confused with my shit box Commodore tranny. :LOL:
I wouldn't consider......>> Things like inspection plates or sandwich paltes as spacers, which is why I asked the question. Is Zrated asking for the right thing?
i dont know..... well i thought i had everything until rob260 said i need a spacer/plate... and the z1 guide mentioned something too... actually... come to think about it... i gather it replaces the two black plates either side of the auto bell housing (engine side)... i had that weird thin plate in the auto... still out on the floor in the garage somewhere..
That is commonly referred to as a.......>> Sandwich plate. You might find you get a better response to your wanted questions if you use the right name for things. You are right though, the 1 piece manual plate replaces the 2 piece auto item.
to tell you the truth... i think that is one of the parts.... i know the auto has a half plate that looked similar, but it was held to the engine by two L shaped brakets...
