I can here a squealing noise coming from the front of the car, but ONLY when turning left and when i'm putting the foot down. (high or low rev's) eg: coming to a corner, turning left. everything is fine as i'm slowing down. then I turn the wheel left slightly and put the accel down and it starts screeching until i straighten the wheel. (sounds more like a slipping belt noise rather than squealing tyres) Anyone had this or know what it could be?? Thanks guys and girls!
Check the adjustment on your front wheel bearings. Sounds like a disc is rubbing on a brake pad when you push it hard into a corner.
Not sure, cause if i coast through the corner at the same >> speed, (without accelerating) then it doesn't do it. This sort of makes me think it may have something to do with the enging/drivetrain.
Squealing... Possibly power steering belt might need adjusting; or even loose engine mount, causing movement when turning...just possibilities (?)
Check it out yourself Benny - put your thumb pressure on it If it moves a lot then you know its squealing but if its tight then adjust it .........its not hard unless you dont wanna get youse hands dirty boy!!! Still! wheel bearing wear or adjustment will give you some funny noises out of the front end when youre cornering.
 yeah bloody office workers not wanting to get hands dirty!! I'll av a look tomorrow. and still if no go, i'll get a checkover. Cheers guys.
check inside your gaurds to see if your tyres are rubbing my brothers crx made the same squeeling noise, look for scrape marks or whatever
