My NA hose is one and three eights inches inside diameter at

the radiator and one and five eighths inches inside diameter at the engine outlet. Bottom radiator hose is the same. I am pretty sure that TT's and NA's are the same dimensions but top hose varies in shape slightly?

Nissan cleverly made the ends different sizes, so you can't make do

with an general purpose auto shop one. In an emergency, I had to pay $110 for a new one from a Nissan dealership, but others on the Forum have done much better than that, for OEM and aftermarket ones.

    Try a search.

    Cheers:zlove:

    Thanks Guys

I'm not actually replacing the hose I wanted to mount a water temperature sensor in there as I dont really want to disconnect the stock one (plus the after market one in this case is actually thinner than the stock one) So i was going to buy one of those little in-line bits of pipe that you screw the sensor into. Just wasnt sure which size to get, sounds like around 40mm is the way to go.

That article needs updating as Malc has found that Gates actually

make hoses specifically for the Z32. Top hose is Gates 05-1030 and bottom hose Gates 05-1033 for the bottom hose. These are available at Repco but it is best to quote the numbers to them. Top hose varies from $11 to $20 (depending on who serves you) and the bottom hose is around $65. I bought the bottom hose but had already ordered the Mazda hose before I read Mal's thread. The Mazda one fits OK but the proper one would have been better.

    Not sure now.

They had them on eBay but I've just had a look for them again and I'm buggered if I can find them anywhere.

    **UPDATE**
After much surfing I've discovered that you can get the adapters from an ebay store:
