Need a good tuner in Brisbane.... North side would be best, but anywhere will do. Someone REALLY experienced. Got a tune done today... 360RWHP but car feels like it's retarded below 3000RPM and these folks have never tuned a Z. And they could only run 13PSI "anything over 13PSI lost power" according to the clowns. And check out the dyno... +4 PSI and EMS over stock ECU gained 100RWHP????

Hey there i've just bought a car with an LTX12 and i get the same thing doughy below 3000rpm - ive got a/m turbos and i was pulling 370rwhp on the lowest boost they would run - around 10-12psi ... so yeah i was going to try B&R and see if they could set it up properly should be good for around 400rwkw i.m.o Let us know what sort of results you get !!
400kw what have you got under the hood? hey mate you say that in your opinion your car would pull around 400kw when tuned properly i would love to know what your current setup is you didnt give much away in your profile. i know of only a couple of cars on the forum that have that sought of power, im not doubting you, just curious to see some more specs and info on you ride. cheers jezza

MANY people reccomended him to me as one of the best in australia. He has his own in house dyno dynamics dyno and charges $150 p/h ON the dyno which is very decent. Microtech specialist. Give print outs and explains everythign in pretty good details in what hes doing and what you want out of the car etc. Matt.
I've heard of this guy before. Someone else a while ago said he was a good tuner. Damn, long way though.

Re: I've heard of this guy before. Egg, give MILANCO a go. I've herd good reports. They have alot of Microtech experience. The guys at F.I.S.T said they have had several unhappy customers from Redcliffe Dyno.
ADD ONE MORE very unhappy customer to the list at Redcliffe Dyno. Do the guys at Milanco have good experience with actually tuning Michrotech ECU's fitted to Z32's?
B&R B&R are going to tune my LTX-12 for $280 on their dyno, and they deffinately have Z32 tuning experience. My car is going there on the weekend so yeah see how it goes!
I would strongly recommend NOT taking your car to B&R. Cars that start at B&R usually end up having to be fixed at AMEC.
BIG DIFFERENCE Remember there is a BIG difference between RWHP and RWKW.. I know that B&R use RWHP as per my sheet HERE
And Cars fixed at Amec usually end up being Fixed by Gavin Woods ... I'm stirring. Couldn't help myself. They usually end up being fixed by Chewy :LOL:
Pete... you are setting yourself up there ... these sort of posts always end up bad for everyone ... Last thing you want is for B&R or someone else to sue you and/or Emmanual for defamation...and I'm sure that a certain fellow member will respond to this with the words 'hypocracy'... Sorry to be so blunt but I just dont think these posts do anyone any good. PS: Oh, and for the record - I am not defending B&R in any way here.
it was that sort of statement that Amec threatened me with a lawsuite People in glass houses shouldnt throw stones. I'd say you should publicly appologise or maybe B&R will be threatening you with a lawsuite too.
I'm not going to apologise to a shop that performs a 100K service on a Z, which ends up at AMEC because it is leaking POOLS of oil from the seals. I'm just trying to save the guy $$$$ in the long run. As long as I stick to the truth, which I always do, then I have nothing to fear.
Completely agree Let them sue. If your repeating something you know is true then they can sue all they like but they wont win. If a shop is crap then they deserve their reputation that they have earnt.
