i have a problem with my z wandering to the left. ie when i take my hands off the wheel (not that i do this regularly) the car wanders onto the shoulder. this is much more pronounced at higher speeds (>100kph). thought it might have been the wheel allignment at first but got this done and the problem is still there. just wondering if anyone might have any ideas as to what the prob is?

have also checked tyre pressures and they are the same all round. and no im not carrying a ridiculously overweight passenger to cause the veering.

    Tyre wear?

What brand of tyres & what condition are they in? Any excessive shoulder wear?

A good tyre shop & wheel alignment tech should find the problem. Just coz you've had an alignment (income earner for many tyre shops) doesn't mean it's correct.

    tyre wear

well im just on stocky wheels at the moment and they have the firestones that were on when the car came over from Japan. The tyres were like new when it came in Jan this year, and i dont do many burnouts etc or go drifting, and by inspection they seem to have decent tread left.. maybe i should go back to beaurepaires and issue an earbashing? the dude at beau's reckoned the tread was about 50%
