I noticed this post and thought to myself, that's exactly what I need..... Then I lost the smile from my face when I read QLD....... Not that I don't like QLD but I am a VIC boy Does any1 know if VIC has anything like this for ZED's ? Or is someone thinking about doing something similar ?
Ditto that for NSW! In particular i need a pre-purchase inspection. Any help would be much appreciated.
I hope someone in Melb is thinking of doing this...> There are many highly competent peeps in Vic that can do this and much more... I know that Wykked works for Bourbon... but apart from that. Nobody has stuck their hand up yet. As confirmed long ago, I have absolutely no prob with someone from other areas doing the exact same thing. It's all about helping the zed community... Infact, I'd love to have a steady local contact I could refer people to in their state because I have had overwhelming response and can't hardly keep up with Brisbane demand...I've even had an offer from a member to register and host the zedcare website. Failing this, I'm happy to jump on a plane if enough peeps will share the cost... But it's not like I'm doing brain surgery here, ANYONE with an obsessive attention to detail who knows zeds can do this easily!!! Current jobs take anywhere from 2.5 - 4 hours on average... Anyone up to the challenge? I have detailed work sheets I can provide to anyone on request...and list of required tools/spare parts etc etc. ALso happy to list their names/contact details on the zedcare website...
I'm always happy to help......>> But unfortunately I'm not always available. If you can work around my work and family commitments, don't mind traveling to the south eastern suburbs and getting your hands dirty I'm happy to help you work on your car. Mark is right, it isn't brain surgery and most tasks are easily tackled with a good tool set, dedication and a few specialised items like ConZult.
