i picked up my first zed friday before last and couldn't be happier, unfortunatly other people couldn't be happy for me. the first night i had it, it was parked down at the shops for about 20 mins and somebody spat all over my door. second night i was at a friends place and someone decided it would be hilarious to egg it. i thought that might of been it as it didn't get touched for the rest of the week until i was at a friends party last night someone poured vodka all over my targas, that annoyed me but i washed it off and moved on checking it every 20 mins or so. so later on in the night i walk outside to find my side mirror hanging by the cable (can't wait till i find who did it). and then to top it all off driving home had to swerve a kangaroo, hitting the gutter and smashing both passenger side rims. only hope my luck will get better.
you should get an alarm Those ones where it beeps ya when your car sensors go off. I know there expensive but with your luck its sure to save further troubles.
new friends i think you need new friends buddy, because obviously the ones you hang with now dont give you or your car any respect.. its amazing what people do to your car out of jelously, ive had ppl back into my car, key it, scratch it, lean on it etc.. not that they would ever do it with me looking though.. cowards
Sorry to hear man... my week has been an absolute shocker too in more ways then just my zed. I hope both of our luck improves real quick dude...
i kno how u feel... i had the smoothest most troublefree, law-abiding drive 2hrs up the coast from brisbane and a small miscalculation has cost me more than smashed rims. Dont let it get ya down mate, chin up and tread carefully!
Having second thoughts now about buying zed.. I wonder if the people of St Kilda will appreciate my taste in car the same way. I don't have a garage and I would have to park on the street. I would hate to see it covered in some junkies spew/blood/urine etc.
You live in St kilda and dont have a garage ???? Dude, you are really livin on the edge. I go to St Kilda a lot and I hate parking zed there. There is no way I would leave it outside all night every night. You need a shit box for that.
I dont have a garage either Its up a steep carpoint but in view for anyone to see. Nothing has ever happened to it in 3 years and I dont exactly live in Canberras prestige suburb (mostly govy properties). I would never consider parking on a street for a long term basis. I wouldn't get any sleep!
Re: Thats awful luck OH that is Horrid luck, It will improve, the Zed will give u pleasure to compensate, It disgusts me how some people can act!!!! Let the Jealousy of others inspire u....... (to get a alarm lolol) best of luck and enjoy Zedding
Agree St Kilda Elwood are high car theft areas, when I worked in insurance these areas were the cha ching areas. I even had a peice of crap camira broken into Elwood. I would not even bother fixing your car mate, as would bet the same thing will happen again, get a garage if possible or move house. Good luck Mark
