    Hi All,
I have just purchased a '92 TT off my brother (Bagz), you might have seen a few of my dumb questions posted here from time to time.
I got another one for you!!!
    ;)
I was wondering if anyone had an idea as to what a reasonable price is for a replacement door for a '92 2 seater, I have priced one up at Smash Palace in Queanbeyan, he wants $600. That is for the door, no interior trim, no mirror or anything else. It is however, black so I don't have to go to a panel beater get it repaired, resprayed, paint matching etc. A very inconsiderate person reversed into the door a while ago..
    Does this sound reasonable?

    Say Hi to Hugh...>>

try www.justjap.com or www.japimports.com.au for price comparison.

The adjantages of the Smash Palace door would be (1) same colour so no painting required, (2) would have intrusion bars fitted since it was a complied car.

Certainly will say Hi for you

He actually told me to get on and say G'day to you and John for him, he wanted to catch up soon, even though I am now the extremely proud owner of his beautiful machine, I love the car! She's a bit rough around the edges at the moment, by the time there is another cruise I should have her looking (and driving)her best..
    Thanks for your help Ian.

Just to be sure call John from Cresta 07 3245 1555 and tell

him Mark Field from the forum sent you.

Tell him the other price and see how much he will beat it by (don't forget you will have freight from Bris but I'll bet you a couple hundred that it is still a far sight cheaper to bu from Cresta even with freight...)

John is a fellow zedder and offers great prices to forum members... They are having a Cresta garage sale in a few weekends...pity you couldn't be here for that... definately would be a cheap way to buy the door

    Let us know...

    cheers

$4-$500 is good depending on if it still has the glass and trim etc.
