I was just thinking aloud, what a Z32 cabriolet would look like. :unsure: What I meant is a targa top without the centre pillar dividing the two targas. Might look a bit like the Supra aero. If you were to saw this off, would it need engineering certification etc??? Does the center pillar keep the chassis rigid? Without it I would assume there would be considerable chassis flex like the convertible. This could be a cheap alternative to buying a "factory" convertible. Just a thought. PS. Benny might even use his 3D rendering expertise to get us one...hint, hint. :thumbsup:
i'm no engineer but.... yes yes correct its not a crazy idea, but guessing mr nissan put that centre section there for a reason. would be pretty sweet, z aerotop!
The bar is a little annoying... but out of our vision You dont really notice it much... it makes the car feel stronger incaase its rolled! Safter to leave it a targa i would imagine... we do have the best targa setup out!! Azzurro zed 32
