    g'day,
looking at buying some rims and tyres through tempe tyres. just wondering though, i want either 17"s or 18" rims. how do i know what tyre size and which rims will suit my Zed?
if it makes any difference, its a 1990 Aus-Spec.
i've been browsing through their site, and see ones that i like but don't know if they'll fit me z.
any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
    cheers.

Yeah don't e-mail them just phone them....

They receive 1000's of e-mails a day, my mate just ordered some through these guys (no it wasn't for a 300ZX rather a BMW) and he told me ringing them up, even though it costs more you will get looked after, of and don't forget to barter, apparenlty they reduced the price of his tyres a bit :)

    Good luck

I just bought some rims/tyres from them today!

Went out there personally with Mr Zee to help with(well actually do all of) the bartering, (many thanks for that Mike )

Before now though I did send them some emails and they replied most of the time within the next day. They REALLY are a busy workshop, and the pictures of the place dont do it justice. Tell them the style, size (I'd recommend 18" as they look the best IMHO) and the rim widths you want. I believe you can fit a 9.5" on the back of the Zed, but go with 8.5 on the front.

They know the PCD (the pitch centre diametre) for the Zed (114.3) and the right offsets too. All you got to do is choose the style really.

John runs the place, but the guys on the phones have a good idea what fits what.

    Re: help

I've got 9 x 18s w/- 235/40s and 10 x 18s on the back w/- 265/35s (Manaray rims) and they fit perfectly. It's all in the offset. My rears have a lot of outside (negative) offset but they clear the guards no worries.
