Hey jono, i've just been defected for my 2 inch front spacers because the transport said they make the wheels stick out past the gaurds! Which is bullshit cause if they did that then my tyres would have big grooves in em! Now i have to change em back to what i had orig, 25mm front and about 10mm rear.
I can't remember the name of the place but they are no longer around anyway I think Japanese Motorsport in Adelaide might sell some. I paid $300 but they were custom made. Had to cut the studs for the bolt on type. Ben
I found one of those.....>> Cut off pieces of stud sitting in the middle of my drive way 2 days ago. I have no idea where it has been for the last god-knows-how-many months, or how it managed to turn up in the middle of the drive way, but there it was. Rusted to hell.
I don't think they are sharp enough to do that....>> I was just amazed that it turned up out of the blue. I have no idea where it has been hiding all these months, or why it would choose now to show up.
Sorry to hear Josh... from what I have gathered it is illegal to run any kind of wheel spacer. I know the insurance company wouldn't like it either. Jono
Wheel spacers.... Theres a set of brand new ones for sale on the SAU(Skyline) website. I think the stud pattern for 300s and Skylines (correct me if Im wrong)is the same.
Not sure if they are illegal or not, the transport inspector didn't say i couldn't use em but just to make sure the wheels are completely inside the guards. I got mine from speedy tyres in launie and they just threw em in with the wheels. They can't be the expensive then!
I have spoken with Service Tas... & they told me it is illegal to run any kind of wheel spacer. So Josh, you reckon I'll have to run spacers to get my 19's on then? Jono
