What is a good place to go to get a rear spoiler for my 300 in Perth?

want something similar to stock but a little different not something big and outthere.

any help would be greatly appreciated

    go to MAD Enhancements

the guy running it is Marcus. He can do custom stuff as well as bring stuff in, he services a couple of Zeds as well apparently. He'll look after you and give you heaps attention, you'll feel like a mate.
He's located in Osborne Park, Unit 1, number 5 collingwood street. the phone number is 92428434, but i'd recommend going down to see him. tell him Jay sent you.
    hope this helps.
    cheers.
if that doesn't work (which i doubt will happen :D), try the Spiler Shop in Myaree, they are a bit more pricey though.

    Does Adrian still work there?

On a different note.... I've heard some really really really bad stories about Mad Enhancements.

    Wouldn't reccommend them

The paint work on my spoiler is second to none and the up-front service is great.

However, the fitment of said spoiler left a little to be desired as, whne it started raining again, one of seals wasn't complete and started rusting underneath and leaking on the hatch. As the warranty had expired, they would not fix the seal either

Col at extreme machines seems very helpful and Paul (ZXxx) has recently had a bodykit sprayed and fitted and his hatch made spoilerless. Should ask/PM him about it.

    Cheers

Would NOT recommend either of them,

Spoiler shop just screwed up my resprayed front bar way too tight to cover their shonky work and it ended up cracking the guards in about a month. Paint was good but very bad aftersales service. Arrogant prick is all I can say. (Josh is still a good bloke though Franz :))

Col is just WAAAAY too shonky and overpriced. A bloke I know was telling me yesterday that he had the full Veilside Kit fitted by this bloke and he added on $2000 by the supplier (Who was Bruce at Fibre Vision) and then overcharged for the paint and it left him with an unfinished Zed. This was after Col had Bruce make moulds (yes they were in it together) from another blokes kit I took off a zed for Bruce to make moulds off so we could sell the kit at a later date to the public. Col claimed it as his own and is now selling them under his Extreme machines banner.

Sorry I can't give you a reputable supplier, but it seems the ones I know about all shot themselves in the foot in my book.

    hey Franz

what are the bad stories you've heard? i've seen upwards of ten cars come from there and have found the workmanship top class. even then, the personalised attention is excellent. spoiler shop have the stuff etc. but i found the staff there really wankers and overpriced.

I think i know the kit

He tried to sell me a kit that had only side skirts and rear bar for a 2+2 that looked quite nice. Is this the one.

That sounds a lot dodge to me mate. I always thought Col was overpriced too (just look at what he sells his cars for).

    Cheers

    Stories...

...biggest one I've heard is that a SR20 was being built (aftermarket internals) this job took just under or just over a year (I can't remember). The owner supplied all parts for it - after 3 months he found that half the stuff he bought for his motor was sold to other clients or pinched for other jobs. It then took alot of work and time to get replacement parts back let alone put the motor together.

Iirc the motor wasn't running right so it was taken to another workshop where it was stripped down, found to be needing new parts (because it wasn't assembled properly) and then rebuilt.

I know Adrian (not sure if he's still there, I don't think he is) from way back and is a good guy; I personally just don't trust their mechanical and business skills.

Agree with you on that one mate

paintwork was good, but gave me the run around after they had my money.

The main reason I went there was that I was having X-speed do my 100'000km service and they are right next door! I must say that of all the people I have dealt with for my car, X-speed were very good and helpful.

    Cheers
