how much is the going price for polishing plenums

these days. I can do it but if someone else can do it for less than $300 exchange then it's not worth my while.

The outside one's

Are HKS alloy hardpipes with blow off valves which i just polished up, the inside ones are mandrell bent pipe, which i made up and had chromed.
$395 for an exchanged polished plennum is good value imo, i polished mine and i can tell you i will never do another one, to much work and takes forever.

 

I've had one quote at "around" $200

That seems an appealing price to me.

polish for $200. A plenum takes about 40 hours to do properly i.e. including the polishing of the valley on the plenum.

 

Can you see examples of what $200 gets you?

As chewy said, 40+ hours is required to do a good job. No point in paying a bit less and being dissapointed with the end result (Ask Mr TT- he got a partially polished plenum from CB)
