On e-bay its the old model not the fancy one, it was only 115 bucks (new) so I though why the hell not, to give me a rough idea of what my cars doing now and when I do mod's etc..

Any one got one? what's your experience with it, accurate or not?

yeh i just bought one of the same guy aswell!!

hes a nissansilvia site sponsor, after buying it i relise that ive gota practice my launches better because i was pulling better 0-100 times when my car was standed bout two years ago, now ive just got too much wheelspin of the line. the G tech is not full on accurate but it helps you get a fair idea on how ur mods go and like me, how to improve ur style of racing

As Andrew has said, I've got a Gtech Pro Competition.

I've tested it against the timing at the motorplex. It was always extremely accurate (always within 0.080 of a second and 1.5mph ET).

The tacho on it is a cool feature too.

One thing Im waiting on (and so is most of the other owners) is updated firmware so that it can be used on a track/skidpan/traction circle with the ability to log a whole lot more other information. *fingers crossed for soon*

Also, as Andrew has said - make sure you find a really quiet road. Let me know what stats you end up with.

    Sample sheet of mine:

    Egg ....

I borrowed one a few weeks back.

Got a best run of 12.2 though mostly 12.8
I got readings between 12.2 and 13.2 and it seems rather sensitive to road surfaces and slopes. But on a nice level smooth road I believe they're quite accurate.
