If anyone can answer any of the following, I'd be grateful for the info. Were the stackers wired to the oem head unit?were they an RF modulated system?does the control unit operate the stacker independantly of the head unit?does the stacker just use an rca input to the head unit for audio signal?Any other info on them?Thanks all.
I had the same sorta thing in my boot and the previous owner took out his head unit, chucked a shit one in and so I just pulled the head unit and the stacker. Mine was exactally the same as yours but mine was a 12 stacker. Cables ran from the boot all the way to behind the head unit into nowhere. Does yours work?? Was yours in the car when you bought it?? I too would like to know if anyone has any info, but I think they are aftermarket items Dangerous. Cheers Grant:-Z
mine had the stacker ( i still have it) in the shed somewhere,from memory it went to a 5pin din type male socket and plugged into the back of the head deck...(i think) or did it plug into the control thing in the console....gee i cant remember, it was the first thing i pulled out of my TTZ ill find out for you Jim
