There actually was a transformer zed....

but since the transformers were the most popular in the 80's, the only zed transformer was a 280 zx. Forget its name though......... and it was an Autobot, one of the good guys..Cheers

 

There were actually two...

...Z's in the Generation 1 transformers - Prowl and Blue Steak.Transformers was a little early for the 300zx though, even the Z31 when it was first being made.Blue StreakProwl
