Hi, What front dash / windsreen cameras are you guys using? Can you please provide pros and cons on the one you have. I'm looking at updating my old model with a new smaller unit that has extra features. Thanks
I personally running a cheap eBay AZDOME full touch screen strap-on rear view mirror that has forward mounted camera with GPS & rear camera <- I mounted inside cabin at top of rear roof lining just to function as rear camera Pro: it records what's needed. Screen is full size and can cycle between full front, rear and split views Rear camera can be wired to function as reverse camera Con: touch screen not so good as scrolling to adjust settings is hard. (I have other issues, but I haven't stopped to play with it)
I use a Viofo A119 Mini 2 (link below) in my daily and it's very good. It has the latest gen Sony sensor so has excellent night vision. Other things I like aside from awesome quality recorded footage are the fast wifi - super quick to download any vids to your phone and its way better to change setting etc via the app. I don't use the voice control but it's there, I did get the Bluetooth button which I have on the back of my steering wheel to lock in any clips easily and quickly. It also has a super capacitor not a battery, so can deal with the heat much better. All up it's a super reliable, high quality little camera at a very reasonable price.
