I have a set of personalized plates I'm looking at selling. Have never sold plates before, so this is a new eorld for me. How do I determine a reasonable price to list them for? I don't want to rip myself off, but also want to be fair to the buyer. Plates are 30 OMT Californian style plates reads 300MT Any advice would be helpful. Thanks
Buyer's market, depends on who wants them. If you just want them gone put them up for what they cost you. Usually helps move them quickly.
Cheers. Knew it was a buyers market. Cost was the $80 transfer costs. Did the engine in the Z and had to sell when I seperated from the ex. Was hoping to obviously get more than $80 and am almost certain they're worth more than that. Was thinking $200-$500 but not sure if that's a fair price for both parties. Would love to get the money back that I lost on the Z but we all know that's not going to happen. LOL
No ad in disguise. Legitimate question. And cheers. Will post ad and see how I go. Just never had to see personalized plates before, so really have no clue on actual value.
Transfer cost + 10% would be a fair price. Considering custom content has an annual fee to whom ever owns the plates. I don't think you get any money back from handing in custom content plates. So to whom you ever sell them to, you won't be ripped off in any respect. The only main deal the buyer is gets is: not having to pay for the initial purchase price of custom content.
