Trusted Shop to make tailshaft - VIC

Hi guys, my tailshaft seems to be giving up on itself. So was wandering what good places are there around Victoria that could make a 1 piece for me. I have read about Jeff from Knox area on one of the threads.
Just looking for a place I could trust to do a good job

Yep, local and quality work. Mine was made by Jeff back in 2007 I think, so around 10 years ago.

 

Thanks for that. So you just cal him up and tell him what you want?

 

Two ways, take your existing driveshaft out, give it to him and ask for it to become 1 piece. Pick it up when it's all done and will last a decade and more. Cheapest and easiest option.

Or custom order one on the phone and tell him it's for a 300ZX, he will also need to know what combo:

NA or TT, auto or manual, 2+0 or 2+2.

Once he knows all of that he can make it but generally it will cost a lot more as he needs to re-use STOCK driveshaft parts to make one. If you don't give him your stock one he will have to source one. More time and money.

No idea, depends on how busy he is. If you rely on your car for work then call and ask?

Maybe he can just make one up and you'll trade in your stock part free afterwards so he can re-use it for a future job.
