Year: 1991 Body (2+0/2+2): 2+0 Colour: Silver Engine (Turbo/NA): NA Transmission (MT/AT): MT Interior (Cloth/Leather): Cloth Odometer: 235442 Price: $4,000 Contact Details: Use the gumtree link to contact me, plain-text phone number on an '00 bulletin board is a bad idea. Comments: Gumtree link Garage Link (nothing special) It's about a 6/10 overall and that's me being as unbiased as I can possibly be. Drives solid, but has a collection of minor cosmetic issues due to it being a daily for years. For anyone on this forum, it would be a solid daily beater if you re-gassed the AC. But I wouldn't be recommending this as a foundation for a Z project, no sir.
Surface rust on the hatch, unable to get RWC without sorting that out first. Dropping to $3000 w/o RWC as-is.

Now on car-sales with a few more pics: https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-300ZX-1991/SSE-AD-4524390 Forum member took a look today and noticed the oil leak. Yay wouldn't of noticed it myself.
Make me an offer guys, going to start pulling the easily sell-able items off this and junking it soon. There is money to be made here... I just don't have the time nor desire to pull it all apart myself.
What's wrong with it? Rust in hatch Oil leak, probably rear main Ac no gas, why? Why not a project car?
Car sales ad has the best information I can provide on what's wrong with it. AC air slowly got hotter - compressor seals have a leak, would be only logical answer. Body just isn't tidy enough, but then again - that's my take on it. It's got about $1000 in easily remove-able cosmetic bits: Genuine urethane stillen front lip: $150?~ Genuine 2K spec tails. $600?~ Brand new windscreen cowls $250?~ Brand new radio din surround. $200~ Brand new OEM shifter boot and knob. $100~ Brand new chrome cluster guage rings $100~ And that is just bullshit cosmetic bits, the actual factory parts on this thing are in pretty good nick too, the seats, the steering wheel, the gear box - it's all pretty damn tidy. I get the hesitation, I'm no mech and bum on the seat diagnostics ain't nothing you can work off. But, I can see the value, I can see someone with the time to pull it apart making an easy profit on this thing, but maybe I just under-sold it in the original listing. Frustrating, is all. Dead-line is looming. If you've got the space or you want a parts car, send me an offer - I might just say, yes.
Shell/engine/drivetrain sold pending delivery. Can vouch for slicktop_beast as being a genuine, top bloke. Got nothing but respect for the guy. Cosmetic goodies mentioned above will be sold separately in a new thread once I do the photos, PM for dibs in the meantime.
Now residing in my driveway. Car drives very well, solid, no weird rattles or hesitation under load, and holy shit it holds an idle. Cannot be more thankful to Pepper for being such a mad dude and being really chill and generous with his z and letting me pick it up earlier than expected. It shall be respected and not written off. High comp e85 twin turbo here I come. Could not wait, detailed the interior at 5am today.
Spoke too soon. Long story short, been screwed over yet again by family and government. Have to hand the car back this arvo. Final straw, over it. Gotta love helping family out, just to be accused of commiting fraud because of some maggots gambling addiction. For those that are interested in this car, it drives so well, under bonnet temps stay low, starts first crank every time, even on cold start. Honestly it's just gorgeous.
As per above, back up for sale: https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-300ZX-1991/SSE-AD-4524390 I'd go as low as 2K.
This is now SOLD. Few bits for sale from this car can be found here: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1469270#post1469270
