I think some of you guys here have a 350z. Quick question, would a 350z Track edition (with brembo brakes) spare wheel fit in a 2+2 300zx spare wheel well? I have 350z Brembos on my car and as such, my 300zx spare wheel wont fit over the larger callipers. Was hoping I could get a 350z spare wheel and carry that around instead....

Not quite 350Z, but I have an R34 GTR space saver wheel in my 2+2 which fits over the 324mm Brembo front rotors & caliper.

I had to run a longer securing bolt through it into the rear floor as the OEM securing bolt with wing head was not long enough to go through the wheel into the floor (the space saver is offset differently to the OEM space saver). If you are lucky you can probably find the OEM GTR/350Z securing bolt at the wreckers too which might work with the 300ZX rear floor.

Does the boot floor still sit flush with the 34 space saver in it?

not 100% sure, I don't have interior fitted behind the front seats.

Could you just keep the 300zx space saver and use a bolt on spacer to clear the brembos on front?

Don't a lot of cars, these days, carry those little cans of gunk instead of spare tyres?

If you get a flat up front just swap with a rear wheel and put the spare on the rear. It'll clear them tiny brakes.

Wifeys FG has a normal wheel so I cant comment

I think 'D' will be Diagonal Ply Tyre... also known as cross ply I think.

When you do get a bigger wheel to fit your caliper will it fit in the spare wheel cavity is also a consideration
