hi guys, just like to know where is or located the oil pressure switch on zx 89tt manaul , my oil gauge is very low trying to chaned it and i cant locate it. need someone to let me know px tnx. if you can post a pic. of it will be helpfull
It's on the passenger side. You should be able to see it looking from behind the front wheel up to the underside of the motor, single wire attached. Mines an auto but I'd imagine it's no different. I replaced mine with a VDO sender (many years ago) P/N 360.005 and used an adaptor 3/8 to 1/4 NPT (National Pipe Taper) which I think was not an exact thread match but very close. Back then it cost me $60 and I think the Nissan one was $250.
hi andy ty for your input would you be able to take a pic. and post it here so i can have a fare idea which one to look for.if you dont mind doing that.
you cant miss it - there is a hard pipe comes out from behind the air con compressor. it travels towards the engine mount where it has a T with the oil pressure sensor poking away from the engine then the hard pipe continues on and up to the turbo.
Here you go...https://z32.wikispaces.com/Oil+Pressure+Sending+Unit It's the right hand pic on this page. The left hand drive models (USA) have it on the other side next to the oil filter .Ours come off the oil feed to the turbo if I remember correctly.
