OK guys, has anyone here fitted up the EDFC active on aus spec Super Street coilovers. I have a set of the ccoilovers from the group buy in 2006 fitted to my car and I scored a edfc active kit recently which I plan to install. I know the early edfc kit is compatible and I can't see any reason as to why it wouldn't be compatible with the active unit as an upgrade. They still run the same motor kits on the active kits as the original edfc kits. I have fulcrum contacting tein for me regarding this but I thought I would also ask here. If I get a response beforehand from fulcrum I'll post the results here. Also is anyone who was in on the group buy aware of what the part number for the motor kit was for the super streets?
EDFC is just little motors that turn the little adjusters at the top of the strut isn't it? Assuming the super streets have adjustable damping I'm sure they will work. TEIN's adjusters all have the internal hex for adjustment so it's a case of mount the motors, run the wires into the cabin and get power to the unit. A very basic system and should work for any TEIN product with adjustable damping.
I've actually already got all the gear. OK so tein have confirmed that the active pro will work with our super street coilovers. I'll report back once I have it all fitted and the car finished but the rate I'm going that won't be for a couple months
