Hmm I wonder how door handles have diapered from that Z as well as petrol cap? Also it looks like that front tyre exploded or disintegrated somehow while rear tyre which was in closer proximity to the area of the petrol tank stayed untouched? Tyre even looks like that still hold some air pressure... Petrol would ignite in that wall of fire eventually and it would burn that tyre wouldn't it? That doesn't make any scene to me...
Not to mention that car looks very rusted specially around the windscreen area....

Check the same phenomenon on this clip. (Missing door handles, holes in bonets, rust, etc, etc...)

300zx door handles and fuel filler caps are plastic. no mystery there.

    Too long, didn't watch.
That Z looks like most cars I've seen in the bush that have been joy-ridden and dumped. Even looks very much like the one I found still smouldering.

Bonnet of the Z is aluminium so no surprise it faired worse than the other panels. Fuel tanks are very well designed and positioned to reduce the likelihood of them catching on fire, it's all about availability of air and AFRs. Plus if the tank caught on fire the flame still only goes uphill (subject to wind).

It's still more attractive than anything Holden has made to date.

Bonnet looks like someone ripped the engine out from the bottom of the car and trow it back in trough the bonnet sideways :)
As well if you look closely there is no engine in engine bay...
Passenger side tyre also looks like it's still has some tread on it like it haven't been in the fire...
That car has not one piece of glass, that is totally unusual as well.
Only glass particles you can see are on the lights and those pieces don't look melted, just broken...
On the other side why would Z be parked in such close proximity to the most secure building (that spot doesn't look like a parking) and who in pentagon drives old Japanese car ?

Back in 01 the z was not an old car. It could be a 96 model even

Car could of been 7 years old or as old as 12 years...
Color code KH6 Yellowish White 89-94 (color can be seen around rear tyre)

But you might missed the point that I was trying to imply here, and the point isn't on the car's age, but it's on car origins.
Since patriots such as American government representatives or intelligence wouldn't be driving themselves to work in Jap car...

Dude are you seriously trying to imply there's some kind of conspiracy around this burned-out car?

nope I get your inference I just dont agree with it. I dont know what year it is but if its a 96 (the last year released in US) then as of 01 its 5 years old or as you stated up 11 yrs old not really an old car. not to mention the us was one of the biggest markets and definetely the niche market that Nissan was aiming for with the Z. finally the car was hugely popular in the states (according to the press releases) as such I see no problems with someone driving one no matter where they worked. hell you dont see all our officials driveing holdens and fords. And I work in a shop that deals with a lot of the Naval crew from Freo area and trust me they dont all drive Aussie cars either

    Meant to say *inconsistences...

This is our car from different angle

Strangely enough right front headlight appears to have unbroken glass from this angle :)

And this is the image of our z burning

And if you look closer door handle is missing while fire didn't even got the chance to spread to that side...

Where are the windows on that car ???

Location of above images does not match the location of the first image ...

I work for a government department.

Should I sell my Alfa's and buy a Holden Ute?
