hey guys i may have a FPR/FPD problem and want to double check what your opinion is before i buy an aftermarket FPR.

so car wont start. fuel is feeding past the filter but nothing going to the return line. fuel seems to run all the way to the end of the rails then into the second regulator and after that it stops.
pulled off one end of the return line gave it a crank and not a drop came out.
im guessing the second regulator is faulty. anyone have some advice on this?

who knows i may have put the FPR on backwards :bash: so here is a pic of them
    feed side:

There is no second regulator. One is a dampner. The one on the return side is the regulator (regulates pressure in the rail).

What work was done recently? Remove the balance tube and see if the plenum has fuel in it.

the most recent work is going back more than 6 months where i changed a leaking injector and after that she wouldn't start.
so checking for fuel in the plenum is as simple as removing the balance tube and looking inside?

wait which side is the return line need to run from?
i hope i haven't done some stupid stuff and feed the wrong side.
    this is my setup.
    driver side = return line
    passenger side = feed line

That's backwards for a RHD car, quick flip-flop should see you getting better results.

That's gold. I have just walked in from the shed after replacing my fuel lines and as a rule I replaced one side at a time :D. I will say if you happen to pull them all off at once it would be easy to get them arse about.

Good job and if you've got the budget for Nistune get them to send you a base tune for your larger injectors.

That sounds like good idea to get nistune with a base tune to suit.
What's something like that cost all up normally?
