The alternator harness is combined with the starter motor and transmission connectors.

It goes from the connectors behind driver's side headlight down behind the power steering pump and behind the alternator itself.

The big single wire connector is the starter motor signal wire.

Part of it is secured onto the driver's side engine mount and the rest goes back along the trans and connects to speed sensor, reverse sensor and neutral sensor (if manual), AT harness has 2 pins less on the main connector as it doesn't have a neutral switch.

    Hi Mike,
    Thanks for your help.
Any chance you would have any pics of the engine bay and location it comes up from behind the alternator?
    Thanks

Should be pretty obvious in this photo with only a bare engine.

It's resting on the subframe, stock is tied down to a bracket on the driver side engine mount. There's also a bendable bracket that screws on just above the alternator mount but if you don't have the stock brackets just use some cable ties to make do and prevent it moving around.
