Hey guy just wondering if anyone has any suggestions regarding my car not starting. Just finished a plenum pull and pretty sure the injectors arent firing. Getting spark, (plugs are dry) and fuel out the return to tank line, injector plugs were all labelled and refitted to the right injectors, ecu not flagging any faults either. I havent even managed to get the car to fire once so it seems to be affecting all of the injectors. Im fairly new to Zed's so just wondering if theres something obvious ive forgotten.

    Cheers in advance

This is something a bit random, but I've accidentally forgotten the balance tube before and the car wouldn't start, has it been bolted back on?

Did you disconnect the fuel relay in the driver's side footwell or disconnect the crank angle sensor and forget either of those when putting back together?

The injectors are not polarised so its likely to be a ignition circuit connector or the ECU itself that would cause all to fail

The only thing common to all is the ECU - so I would reconfirm injectors are not firing via the CAS injector test method / (then test from the ECU back if need be) and check the CAS connector is secure at the same time.

found an old post on the forum from 2011 with same problem. turned out to be calcium on the injector plugs. cleaned them all and got it running on about 5 cylinders, bigger problems now though as a small coolant hose on the back lh side of the eng has decided to split

Good luck with your coolant hose, I had this same problem, plenum back off XD
Make sure you get a really good seal because its a pita to get back to. But you'll get quick at plenum pulls.

Make sure the earthing spades(on the rear of plenum) are cleaned and well earthed, I cleared up an intermittent miss by putting new connectors on these earths. This was after the earth failed and fried my PTU, learning is fun.

I also found a really dodge job on my injector connectors that had been 'replaced', I repinned it and solved another miss.

managed to replace the hose today from underneath by dropping the lh dump pipe and using some very long nose pliers. All back together and running successfully today, ive found the if i move the loom around a bit it sort of drops a cylinder here and there but i seem to have found a sweet spot for now.
