OK its 6 months today since I bought my first Z. So five things I've noticed big time since owning it..coming from driving a Patrol/Barina...for a bit of fun on a Friday. 1) Every car, not matter type (Getz, Hilux, Vans etc) gun it from every traffic light. People must thrash their motors! 2) Any little part that needs replacing will cost you at least $150 with labour as well... 3) Don't floor it in the wet, even in a straight line! 4) It turns plenty of heads 5) How excited I get when I see another on the road, even the missus has started to do it - how long before we have a his/her Z...haha Whats been yours since taking ownership?
all very true. funny how people see a sports car and alot of them go into "race" mode, regadless of what little shitbox they are driving.
People do that when you're out on a bike too. The gunning it from the lights thing. I don't know why.
I do it in every car, every time. More in under powered cars, they gotta be strangled to go anywhere.
This. Unless I'm driving a nice old cruiser or the grandmother in law is in the back seat it's full throttle or no throttle.
Every BRZ or 86 driver tries to race... then I see them turn off at the first off ramp in my rear mirror.
I used to get it all the time on my bike - and harleys were often bad for it as well. old commodore drivers were shocking with my Z.
