Hi everyone on Aus300ZX ! This is my first time ever posting a thread ... actually its pretty much my first time posting anything online regarding my Z :rofl2: . Unfortunatly i am not from Australia , im actually from Canada. But i do own a RHD Z32 :) ... hence why i subscribed to this site ... that and the fact that there are so many gorgeous Zeds on here !!! So there she is. 1991 TwinTurbo 2+2 with t-tops

When I originaly bought her ( 7 years ago ) she was completely stock exept for what i believe to be a Impul rear wing . For the most part i have been fixing up issues that starting poping up a couple months after buying the car. At the time i did not have a single clue regarding what i got my self into  ... but hey ... it think its all part of why i love her so much and never want to give up on her ! I still did some simple bolt on uprgrades

    Engine / exhaust
    - New OEM wiring harness
    - Spitfire Coilpacks
    - S2 ignitor chip
    - EGR and PRVR and plenum water lines delete
    - Koyo Aluminum radiator
    - Carbing cooling plate
    - Greddy hard pipes
    - Greddy SP elite catback
    - Silicone water and IACV hoses

    Suspension / handling
    -Tein S-tech Coils
    - KYB shock absorbers
    -Carbing front strut bar
-ST suspension front and rear adjustable sway bars

    Interior
    - Recaro SR2 leman ( confetti ) driver seat
    - Nismo 300km/h speedometer
    - Nismo Steering wheel and horn button
    - Trust/Grex shift knob
    - Defi triple din gage unit
    - HKS turbo timer

    Exterior
    -Impul rear wing
    -Nismo LMGT 2 wheels

The reason im starting a build is because when relocating my battery to the trunk ( in hope of gaining some real estate in the engine bay ) i noticed the old battery leaked and completely ruined the battery tray and the part of the chassi under the tray. Some rust even started showing on the frame rail right beside the fuel hard lines. I asked a body repair expert what he thaught about the damage. He did not seem to be impressed at all and said it would be fairly easy to fix ... given the engine is out.

So here is my main goal : bringing my car to the body shop completely stripped from the rad support to the windshield. I want to have all of the chassi resprayed and replace everything with fresh OEM parts : brake and clutch MC all possible power steering hoses ( and yes I will be keeping the ICAS system ) etc ...
I also thinking about replacing the OEM intercoolers with bigger aftermarket units and upgrading my oil cooler to a Setrab 19 row cooler. Still undicided about what ill do with my engine and the turbos ... will must probably be adressing those issues at the same time. Do it once ,do it right !

Here is how she sits after working on her for an hour and a half

This will be a slow build ill intend to update it as i progress ,posting part numbers and issues i run into and how i go about fixing them all in effort of helping anyone going thru the same process

For starters this is what i ordered today :

Thank you SpadeZ ! I buy a lot of parts from my local Nissan Dealer
so when i step through the door the parts guy allready know ill be asking for some obscure parts ( Im one of the very few customer with a RHD cars in a LHD country ) but nonetheless he gives me a 15 % discount. I came up to 876 $ CAN dollars wich would be roughtly 910 AUS dollars. thats before taxes. Note that the part number 24012-41p60 is for a 1989/07 - 1992/08 VG30DETT '' WITHOUT '' cruise control . The reason im stating this is because when i gave my VIN number i had the choice of 4 different harness. The problem was that the discreptions stating the differences between the 4 where in japanese ,so i had to do some research online and this is what i found :

    -24012-41p20 = VG30dett MT 5 speed
    -24012-41p60 = VG30dett MT 5 speed without Cruise Control
-24012-41p21 = VG30dett MT 5 speed with optional fender mirror
-24012-41p61 = VG30dett MT 5 speed with optional fender mirror without Cruise control

All of the above from 1989/07 - 1992/08

Please make sure to research before buying the harness the part number might be different from mine. Ill be posting pics of the harness as soon as i receive it. I wont be 100% sure i oredered the right one before i receive it since i used Google translate and rough info i found on this site

    http://www.jp-carparts.com/nissan/partlist.php?maker=nissan&type=132&cartype=11&fig=240

Haha thats a long response for just the price :p Ill get back to you when i receive it.

    Cheers !

Also ... just not to mix people up this is for the Engine room harness ( the harness that runs around the engine bay for the head lights relay box and such ) If your actually looking for the engine EFI harness the part number for my 1991 Z was 24011-40p60 and it ran 733 CAN dollars. Im just saying this because it can cause some headhaches as some people use different terms for the harness !

Looking good TheWolfMan. Your English is better than some of the locals here in an English speaking country.
We deal with a USA supplier for most 300zx parts called Concept Z Performance (CZP)
    https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/list.php?Car_Type=NIS300
They have OEM and performance parts and being in USA they might be a lot cheaper on shipping for you.
Not to outdo your local Nissan parts dealer, but its nice to compare prices.

Z Centre in the UK is another place for RHD car parts
    http://www.zcentre.co.uk/index.php
Hope these help. We can provide more if needed.

Oh, and Welcome to the Aust 300zx community.

Thank you gmbrezzo ! Yes concept Z performance prooved to be really helpfull more then once stocking a lot of parts and also having a great customer service. I also ordered a lot from Z1 motorsport. I did not know about Z-center i will definatly be cheking it out. But damn the US exchange rate is brutal these days.
