Hi guys i know this would be the best place to ask. Howmuch psi to run on a tt with stock turbos only done 2500ks on em, injectors sports exhaust boost controller extractors. Car has done 165ks on thr motor n body. What would be safe to run? Would it be fine to run 14psi. Please help i appreciate every one advice and will take in everything you say
The biggest problem you'll have with road tuning is that you'll only see max pressure at the top of fourth gear, and this is way too fast to do on a road, The stock fuel system can keep up with 14psi. If I'm road tuning I usually shoot for 12psi in 3rd gear.
Most likely a standard ECU reading that. if you have stock injectors don't go over 12 without a tune. My TT is at 96% injector duty cycle on standard injectors.
Sorry for the late one guy's, i just got 120k services done month or 2 ago. Upgraded ECU, pod fliter, running 98 octane fuel... I am about to upgrade the intercoolers. To run 14psi daily what else would i need to upgrade?. Thanks for the help every one!
Its my first 300zx, wanting to put everything in it, get some beautiful stock power out of it. Not into racing or anything its my baby. Its just good to know i did a good job with it
If you just want to max the stock setup put a decent manual boost controller in and run it around 14psi.
"upgraded ECU" doesn't tell much, all it means is the mapping is different from standard. Its all in what tune is on it man, i had an "upgraded ecu" in my TT too, not safe for over 9psi.
Lol yeah upgraded ECU just means you should leave the boost standard... or better yet just run straight to the gates...
I think you mean the stock fuel "maps" rob, the system itself can handle more than 14psi with a remap.
