Some grilles can make the Zed look a bit ordinary, because most cars have a grille between the headlights.

With the 2K lights on the first pic, I would agree, but on the second pic with the std headlights if it was painted black would blend in better and look much better.

Anti, you are resourceful enough, what about a mesh covered frame, painted in the same colour as your bonnet? It would have to have a grille scaffold behind it, but it might be the combo of functional airflow at low speed while retaining that long bonnet style of the Zed?

I'd Photoshop a 2mm mesh overlay for you, but it would look almost the same as a plain stock nose panel.

Use something strong like Crimsafe Security Mesh, wrapped over the top of a couple of aluminium photo frames to give a borderless result, but have the extra verticals of the two frames in the centre under the mesh.
You could even test it out as Crimsafe Security Mesh inserted in place of the glass in a modified photo frame to be full width, but then you would have a frame as a border. Might look OK.

looks ok, i think it would look better with just three grill lines, probly delete (fill) the top one would look better.

on a side note, the front bar isnt bad.

I don't see how you can think the UAS one looks ugly and think this doesn't. They're both ugly.

Like you said, stock is the nicest but if you want one that allows airflow through it, single slit ones are the way to go imo.

Won't post pictures as your thread isn't asking for suggestions so here are some links.

The meshed nose panel idea will likely flow well and certainly be cheap but it'll never look the part. I kind of like this one because at a glance it blends together pretty well, with no pattern outstanding.

The TwinZ contoured letterbox panel is definitely the best looking after market nose panel, but honestly I'd expect to see sweet F A flow through it.

Found this pic of what I think is this same panel on a grey car. Can't tell if it's the same or just an OEM one with slits cut into it. Certainly hella ugly here.

It might look a bit like this. I am starting to notice a few fine mesh grilles on cars today.

I made a mesh front panel for mine by cutting a stockie, underneath are some kitchen vents that feed air in but keep water off the filter:
