When replacing the windscreen is there a kit of any type that needs to be obtained before fitting.
I would like to replace the upper rubber screen seal/weather strip as well. This is fitted between front of roof and screen across the top.
Any tricks to be aware of, or just get a screen man to fit it?
Just want to ensure I have all parts to complete the job.

    Get it fitted.......

Not worth the hassle of DIY (imho), surprisingly cheap if you shop around and you don't have to get rid of your old screen :D
The guy I used threw in the top seal at no extra charge

Yes I agree, I was quoted $310 last year for windscreen and fitting with new seals.

Living out in the country, I've had to get the windscreen replaced a few times on the zed. Paying someone like Windscreens Obrien to do it is the best option. The only time I've had hassles with a windscreen replacement was when I let some idiot mechanic do the job on my patrol at his shop. He used the cheapest seal he could get his hands on and it shrank and started to fray after a few months and looked like crap. I was soo happy when that windscreen finally got broken so I could get that rubbish seal replaced.
