Has anyone bought an engine from Japan autos in brisbane I'm considering this http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=381021923034
i have bought stuff from them before, they seem decent enough, i got an alternator once and it was duff so they swapped it straight away. however, 2.7K is quite pricey for an engine on a pallet
Bought a bonnet from them, good nik and good paint, $150 from memory Was changing it in their car park and the guy asked me what I was going to do with the old one, he seemed a little surprised when I stuck it in the hatch (2+2 of course)
I have been looking at that as well, and as said, for that price, a half cut would be better value. For $2700.00 I would expect the engine to still have the coils, TPS, A/C, Alternator, P/Steering Pump, and everything else that should be on there. Plus a print out of compression test and how many km's were on the car they got it from.
