Looking online at the current strut bar offerings just wondering if form is better than the function of some items.

Some rare pieces have showed up on evil bay such as the following:

    Front : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261453369084?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

    Rear: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221408738442?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

    Front : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/350813492469?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

The question is are the items really worth the asking pricing since powertrix and Carbing offer better/similar pieces at a cheaper cost. Would it be more of a dress up rather than the function of such an item.

Powertrix or Carbing is your best choice

So many people use them, they must be awesome.

There is a brace that fits underneath the engine, so it is stealthy.
    The UAS (K shaped) brace.

You should have a look at that before you spend money on eBay.

A strut race is different to a tension rod support brace

I also rate the UAS strut braces. Noticed a massive difference when I fitted them.

Uas brace is same as powertrix, those & carbing are functional. Others more dress up. & yes tension rod brace is completely different to a strut brace so not really relevant...

I agree with all statements that a 1 piece is better under the assumption that it would be better for rigidity. However is there any value in the rare abflug or Toyko Auto braces ? Or purely aesthetics and could a single bling item be a higher value or a better product ?

ed300zx i am in the market for both front and rear if the pricing is right :)

Wouldnt you want both the strut brace and the front UAS bracing or would that be overkill ? Rob260 how does the car perform react under load with both strut towers and the front UAS bracing ?

The biggest issue with the Z is "does it fit"? I've never seen Tokyo a Auto but am naturally sceptical of anything on eBay, moreso if it's cheap.

UAS sell a copy of the ab-flug brace, fits some cars but touches on others.

Carbing braces will fit perfectly every time.

They do different things -the tension rod support brave prevents flex in the mild steel brackets that the tension rods bolt through. The strut tower brace keeps your strut tops parallel.

How does it feel? Like it's on rails.
