Hello, has anyone every bought a body kit and had the kit put on by some type of panel/body kit specialist?
Can someone answer how much it cost them? Or per panel to of put on and name the kit?

Because I'm planning on buying one, but no idea how much it could cost to have the people I spoke with to put it on. "It could be as long as a piece of string." -They Quoted.

    Thank you in advance.
    -Kyle.

As a Z owner and a panel beater the piece of string comment is pretty accurate. variables are going be everything from the quality and fit of the body kit to the condition and - if any previous repairs to your car - and paint required. I have just fitted a bomex replica front bumper to a 2 seater and it looked really good but once we got it all cut around the FMIC found that all the edges that mate to the guards are uneven they dont have an enven gap they sit proud on one side and even on the other the F/Glass was full of fractures and air pockets...... there was a lot of work getting it to fit and even more to get it looking anywhere near nice. and that is what I would call an relatively good start point. the owner had another kit (his first option) that was just wrong in every way (I actually believe it has to be a widebody front and rear) I have a flare kit for a 200series cruiser that is worth nearly 15k and it is worse than the Z bumper mentioned above.

In short there is no certainty in fitting aftermarket body kits. I will state though I have done a couple that were all but perfect on cars. it really is an unknown quantity.
