Is there a trick to removing the fan clutch?

Haven't removed it before and can't now.

I've removed the 4 10mm nuts and seperated it from the pulley with a sharpened paint scraper but it still won't move.

Yeah I've had one of these sieze onto the waterpump before. Ended up smashing it off with a rubber mallet since both were being replaced anyway.

You've taken the belt off haven't you? It will come off if you have. Long screw driver between the pulley an fan foot. Belt with hammer an rotate and do ir again.

    Got it

That did the trick. After that I got lower timing belt cover, tensioner, timing belt, water pump and top idler all off really quickly. :D

Now struggling with lower intake. One bolt is behind a bracket welded between 2 hard pipes so have to remove the whole hard pipe assembly to get at it. Typical

    Thanks Gj.
