walked out onto the balcony and looked at it for a while,
looked might purdy with the sun gleaming off of that red pearl.

made myself a coffee then walked down to the front door, sat on the step and looked at it for a while, Looked pretty much the same as from the balcony, just at a slight lower angle.

went to my room, stuck my head out the window and looked at it for a while, could only really see the front from my room on the second floor.

still looked pretty much the same when I went back up to the balcony.
i pretty much repeated all that most of the day until i figured if the neighbours noticed my head poking out from the house at different spots all day, they'd probably figure i was retarded or something, so i stopped.

couldnt really do much else since the battery has been flat since yesterday.

prob will look at it some more tomorrow, I'll let you know....

Found a Mega Rare APEXi S-ITC going to install soon see how it works then probably sell.

 

Just swapped the tomei chipped ecu for the stock tt auto ecu I had laying around for the sake of it.

the Z started better, idled better, sounded quiter, and a huge improvement in the pickup.

I'm guessing the chipped ecu might be for different injectors or something other than a stock tt.

Fuel quality too Wayne. Have to remember their tuned for much higher grades of juice in japan. Hence prob why you were lacking the oomph you desired.

Yesterday Karl, 90TTZ, installed a new OEM 300ZX NA radiator fan clutch, tidied up some electrical wiring behind the dash, polished out some lite scratches in my third brake light and flushed out some crap in my cooling system and radiator.

Today I gave it a well deserved and overdue wash and then took it out form a good ol' fashioned weekend drive.

 

Bought some second hand tein mono flex coilovers.

 

I think 2k tails are one of the best aesthetic upgrades for a zed that you can get.

 

Too bad Streeter only ships coils by sea!

That P plate being taped on looks so, so, so bad.

 

Streeter wasn't available so I used importmonster instead....who also only send coils via sea.

 

yep well you can blame whoever designed the jap-spec rear bumpers for not having more room around the number plate to put p-plates, and i cant be f***ed to move it haha.

 

Cable tie it under the number plate..

Streeter used to ship them air, he sent my hipermax's that way but that was a couple years back now, sea freight is a frustrating mofo!

 

It was a toss up between those and some Ohlins Coils but the Ohlins were pretty used up. Wouldn't have been cheap to rebuild them. The Tiens on the other hand have only done 20k kms.
