    Can un metered air cause ping eg intake pipe not sealing

    Yes, would want to a significant leak but would cause it to run lean.

    Ive gone over everything in this car, diagnostics came back with nothing its na and likes to ping sometimes gets really annoying but I do need a drivers side na intake pipe stock one

    Just dealt with a pinging problem of my own. Base timing was set at 20 instead of 15, might be worth checking. Needs to be done with a timing light.

    +1 for checking base timing. My NA was pinging off its head until I adjusted the CAS back to stock timing. Use a timing light and adjust CAS to get back to stock configuration before you do any internal damage!

    Timing light said it's at 15 in less its messing with me and iam running premium 100 octane

    Sounds a bit odd. I remember more than one member has had a situation where timing was out because timing belt was replaced with one tooth out of correct position. Has the car just started doing this or have you had any work done to the car recently?

    It just started doing it one day

    try cleaning the air flow meter. This can be a problem is especially a problem when running oiled air filters.

    Airflow Metre is all good thin it was an intake pipe not sealing I drove it today and there was no ping hope I've fixed the issue Un less its being temperamental.
