Hi just wondering why the indicators and fog lights won't fit in an aftermarket bar I installed. It seems the holes are to small. Could the us and jap be different sizes or did I get scammed by another ******** trying to make a quick buck? Cheers for any help.
Where did you get the bar from? Some copies of bars don't always have the correct size holes due to their molds being inaccurate, or as a result due to shrinkage. Is it only a few mm, or quiet a bit out? Afaik, the lights themselves are all the same, in respect to sizes.
What bar did you get ? Some of them a advertise and inform that you need different lights or to modify to fit stock likes (Veilside cII) (2000spec)
If it's an aftermarket bar I'm afraid it can be luck of the draw. Fog lights fit fine on my bar but I had to take some material off the indicator housings to get them to sit flush.
I'm not a "***********" but I do take offense at your racist comments. Many members on here are either of Asian heritage(or are married to Asian partners). As for your bar, it's a clear case of "let the buyer beware"(you should have checked more thoroughly before you purchased it).
It's the old Cheaper unknown quality bar vs the more expensive known quality bar- We know the score here lol
My sincere apologies just quite pissed off after painting and fitting to find out. I managed to dremel the sides of the indicators and silicone to fit but the fog lights just cracked when I tried them.
