300zx....... spitting???

    Completely normal for a Zed. Dunno why but they all seem to spit steam and water from the exhaust much more than other cars.

    Heard of Pavlov's dog?
    Maybe our Zeds just salivate at the the thought of being fed some road :D

    I watched your vid. Relax. Your new love is a squirter, just get used to it :rofl:

    sometimes it's a lot though! i hope it's water and not unburnt fuel :S but yeah whats that buzzing noise, fuel pump?

    dont worry just condensation in the pipework mabye, if it was unburnt fuel it would ignite from the heat of the heads and give you a few backfire pops. 100 % not fuel

    condensation in the exhausts happens with all cars, and yeah the buzzing is the fuel pump

    Water from exhaust

    As I understand it all good engines produce water as part of the combustion process. When engine is cold the water is in liquid form as the engine warms it becomes steam as and can only be seen in cold weather. If you travel to work in the early mornings you will notice many newer cars giving of steam for a while.

    Thank you guys, but yeah i know about the water, i'm studying automotive at tafe :) i just wanted to make sure because when i put a cloth in front of it, it goes black... i guess it's just the filth in the pipes :)
