Has anyone had experience with the Bomex Front Bar? How well made is it? Does fit well out of the box or require heaps of adjusting? General impressions? This one offered on eBay $265 + shipping
I bought one lots of fibreglassing to make it fit doesn't meet up with the guards where it joins next to the headlights.
The ones selling on eBay ATM and the one that old mate did a write up about are different bars, the eBay one has fog light holes, the other blokes didn't.
by the looks of the american forum the same style bar fits flush. I will post pics when i receive mind.
I've been told that my bar is a UAS, but I doubt they pour them themselves, they probably come from the same factory as the eBay ones.
I bought this exact bar off this seller and you will be disappointed with the fitment! Waste of money if you ask me
Pepper bought the one listed there. Don't know what the go is with the fog light delete, but when he made the thread the link was definitely to that seller. The UAS bars are not made at the same place as this one.
Actually car mate have relatively good fitment. The whole failside kit that came on my zed was from car mate, and the fitment was 100%
send Kris/Mr_G a PM. He did have one of these bars that we got to fit pretty well, but he ended up using a modified TT bar for his SBSFMIC.
Josh cool has one of these for sale in the fs section still in gel coat since we got a good deal on 2k bars instead. I've seen his bar and it doesn't look too bad, though like all fibreglass bars im sure it will need a bit of work to fit properly. Only $100 plus post though.
