Hi I've ordered non resonated 3 inch to 2 half inch test pipes and also 3 inch expansion down pipes.

Gone for the non resonators because my 2 half inch exhaust already has the dome type resonators on them, hence thinking resonated pipes may be to much restriction.

Anyways I hope the check engine light will not come on, ams Motorsport tell me you can fit the O2 sensor to the pipes.

Can anyone tell me there experience on this matter.

Basically want to know if performance will increase, sound increase/better sound and also problems that can arise eg air fuel mixtures stuffing up.

I'm getting Tom from pzp to install so I know with his experience on zeds there should be no problems.

Shoulda asked before ordering ;p haha
But I think you have got confused?

The3" dump pipes have a bung for the O2 sensors to attach/insert to so there is no problem there.

I have these on my 300 and I have no issue with them, only issue I had was a clearance one on the dump pipes and chasi rail.

Sound does increase lightly, as for performance it depends what you had prior. If you have not changed turbos or did not have a restriction than these will most likely not give you a performance gain . Maybe 10-20hp but nothing you will notice.

What turbos are on the car?

Also, resonators are not a "restriction" as such in the exhaust. Getting resonated or non resonated test pipes won't matter too much. Your existing cats may need to be cut and welded or matched to the test pipes as they rarely line up perfectly

p.s air to fuel shouldn't be affected at all.

    I've got standard turbos,
Rebuilt standard motor running on 12psi.

But I have read that the stock pipes are restrictive.

I already have the expansion down pipes they cost me 600 alone and have been sitting for months.
May as well get the test pipes and just get them installed.

Restrictive ? Depending on power desired than yes. So you had a stock exhaust or previous 2.5" turbo back system?

The 3" 4bolt expansion dumps and the test pipes won't hurt, you may notice the exhaust is a little droney though. Otherwise shouldn't have a problem

Won't notice much improvement performance wise at all to be honest . May come in handy though if you ever go larger turbos but will need to change your dump pipes to 5 bolt
