hey guys i now have specs and pics etc of the turbo and engine, the turbos are HKS2540's has 480cc injectors, full hks piggy back engine management. the compression when last tested was 152psi on the left bank and 155psi on the right bank. the engine had over 350rwkw when it was in and stacks of torque (no i dont have a dyno sheet anymore i cannot find it). the engine blew know smoke nor is there any oil arount turbo outlet or intake manifold. it has had a 100k service and has been turned over every couple of months hand to keep it lubed. im chasing $3500 as i want a quick sale, was told the engine was fully forged but i cannot confirm without removing sump which i will not do. also i will not part out the engine

they are 100% confirmed 2540's ball bearing turbos tags checked, have a little bit of shaft play but not majorly excessive or anything
i drove the thing once and that was enough for me, i was in 4th gear doing 60km/h tromped it and was sideways all up the street, the torque it produce was absolutly rediculous, ive driven big HP v8's big HP turbo cars and the thing just terrifyed me. i would ask more but im being realistic the price is cheap as i need it gone.
Sounds like a steal ! Those turbos alone new are over $3000 and of that engine is forged than it could have been anywhere from $6500-15000 depending on work and parts
Okay just want too clarify something, is this a VG30DETT or a VG30DET from a 300zx Z31 as is the car in the pictures ? because if it is just ONE Turbo then it is a vg30det motor.
it's a DETT DET does not have the Z32 plenum which this motor clearly has. scroll left and see the other photos.
yes it out of a z32 the engine is a vg30dett, as for the engine i would say it has any where from 15k km to 60k km as it was built at the z shop in 08, as for interals i cannot yet confirm until i get my inspection camera in the sump and exhaust, they way i look at it you get all HKS gear including HKS2540 turbos for $3500 and you get a free TT engine with great compresion. as for looking into it further the more i look into it the more ill want as originally i thought it just had garret T28,s. who knows it could well be a full HKS STROKER KIT IN THAT BLOCK ALSO, cams also look new and not standed
